My daughter in law just called and was glad I was home. She said stay there! Someone from their company just rolled a four wheel drive pickup near where I live. Icy, icy, icy... Fortunately they were unhurt (thank goodness for seat belts.
So I'm home!! And now I'm gonna go sew on my projects....
And think Lovely, Summery Thoughts............Lots of them. And think Rain, Spring Rain, Lots of it.....
If wishes were horses, even beggars would ride.
I'm glad you stayed home too. Even just my little ride to work, which is only a few miles, required 4WD. It was pretty icky this morning.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear those folks were not hurt.
I love the pics of your place. A whole lotta wide open space.
Happy Sewing!
My neighbor called this morning and told me to be careful when I went out to shovel (about 2 inches) because there was ice underneath the snow. It must have rained before it snowed this morning.
ReplyDeleteI ended up driving to Rapid City a couple of days later, January 30, and the highway between Gillette and Rapid City was horrible.
ReplyDeleteI had no choice but to go, but even though I've lived here my whole life, the absence of this snow caused the really rotten highway conditions to be a surprise.
Verу enегgetic blog, I loved thаt а lot.
ReplyDeleteWill therе be a part 2?
